Today I'm blogging over at All About Romance about how libraries are adopting new technology and going virtual in this increasingly digital age. As part of my research I interviewed Digital Services Librarian Megan Wong, who provided much great insight into what she does and what her goals are. If you're interested in learning more, Megan has her own blog at The Digital Underground, where you'll find "tech talk from a digital librarian."
In the meantime, check out my post over at the AAR blog and let me know what you think about libraries in the digital age.

I can't contribute much since I don't really use the library - first off my own 'library' puts theirs to shame and second, whenever I take a book out they want it back again. But I just had to say welcome to the blog community!! It looks like I get to be your first visitor :-)
My first visitor! Yay! If I had confetti, I'd throw it on you. (Where's that virtual confetti when you need some?) So thanks for the welcome. I finally bit the bullet. We'll see how long I last. ;D
But back to the subject. Those damn libraries, wanting their books back. *g* Fortunately for me, my local library is very romance-friendly and has an incredible selection of books, so I'm a regular patron. Although they do get touchy if I don't give them back those books.
I borrow a lot from my library but they aren't very digital friendly I'm afraid.
Welcome to book blogging!
Thanks Marg! Hopefully your library will get caught up with technology soon.
